DVI Video Cables
DVI may be run in Single-Link or Dual-Link configurations. Single-Link supports a single 165MHz transmitter and support a maximum resolution of 1920x1080 at 60Hz. Dual-Link supports two 165MHz transmitters and up to 2048x1536 at 60Hz.
- DVI-D is used in Digital-to-Digital applications like digital LCD monitors
- DVI-D equipment features 24 sockets plus a single slot on the right of the connector
- DVI-I supports both analog-to-analog & digital-to-digital applications
- DVI-I equipment features 24 sockets plus four more sockets on the right side of the connector
- Before ordering DVI cables, verify both devices support the same DVI signalling method.
